Salary: Up to £20,000 per annum subject to experience

Location: Estuary Commerce Park, Speke

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk.  Working as part of a small Accounts Team, you will provide integral  cover on a Temporary basis in respect of Maternity Leave.  Anticipated duration until 30 September 2018 and thereafter successful cover should lead to a Full Time position.  An efficient and organised team player with experience in Sage 200 desirable. 

Main Responsibilities

• to deliver an effective and efficient Purchase Ledger function
• to ensure the timely matching of purchase orders to invoices
• to ensure the timely and correct posting of purchase invoices and credit notes
• to effectively deal with supplier queries
• to reconcile supplier statements
• to ensure the timely and accurate processing of monthly payment runs
• to perform ad-hoc administrative work and support the other functions within the business

Preferred Skills/Experience

• experienced purchase ledger experience is essential
• good attention to detail with the ability to scutinise
• good communicator
• team player attitude
• highly motivated
• ability to develop good working relationships at all levels both within and outside Kays
• high level of personal integrity
• ability to work individually and in a team
• Sage200 experience most useful
