A leading Cambridgeshire biotech firm has an exciting new opportunityfor an experienced Mechanical Engineer. Their successful productscombine mechanical, electronics, sensor and control systems to deliverpowerful analysis tools used for research across the scientificcommunity. The Lead Mechanical Engineer will have the opportunity toevaluate product designs at all stages of development, and be a drivingforce in determining the direction and scope of new products. Candidates will need to demonstrate commercial experience with: a broad range of electro-mechanical, biochemical, and sensor product design; common fabrication methods, including injection moulding and CNC; system architecture design and development; team leadership and project management of new product design. CVs will also need to evidence excellent and concise technicalcommunication skills, as well as a superb academic foundation to yourcareer, with a minimum 2.1 from a leading Russell Group (orinternational equivalent) university. Successful candidates will enjoy an excellent salary and benefitspackage, working in modern and pleasant R&D spaces within easyaccess of Cambridge, London and the surrounding areas.
