Young People’s Support Manager 

CHS/712

Would you like to lead and manage our exciting service in central Cambridge, working with young people aged 16/17 who are in care and have complex needs?

Could you build a strong staff team to provide this unique and intensive support service?  Can you supervise staff in their work with young people, helping them to build life skills, address issues and discover and pursue aspirations?  Are you creative, resourceful, resilient and committed?  Do you want to make a real difference with young people?  If so, we would love to hear from you.

Based in Cambridge

37.5 hours per week

Salary: £36,236 per annum, plus an additional £110.21 per week when on-call.

We are looking for an exceptional person who has a high level of skill in leading staff teams and in working therapeutically with young people with complex needs. Our successful candidate will also be an experienced manager who is confident and assured, and able to respond effectively to opportunities and challenging situations, delivering a highly personalised support service.
