Exciting new opportunity to lead fundraising in a well-established Cambridgeshire children’s charity.
Fundraiser
Hours: 20 hours per week
Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 full time, pro rata for 20 hours
Location: Cambridge, Ely or St Neots
Our client has supported families in Cambridgeshire for nearly 30 years. Their aim is to give every child the best possible start in life. Trained volunteers make weekly visits to families with young children who are going through difficult times, giving emotional and practical support.
Their plan is to reach more families through service innovation and they are looking for an energetic fundraiser to join their successful team. The ideal candidate for this new post will have knowledge of the family/children sectors and be demonstrably successful in securing multiple income streams, including:
- Trusts and Foundations
- Statutory
- Corporate
- Social media
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to make a lasting difference to families in need.
You will report to a member of the Board of Trustees and be based initially in one of three offices in Cambridge, Ely or St Neots. Some travel will be required.
Use of own car (insured for business use) and clean driving license are required; travel expenses will be reimbursed other than from home to office. The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
