We are seeking to appoint a Customer Service Advisor.  The role is part of the Customer Services Department and is accountable for providing both telephone and email support to NEBOSH stakeholders including course providers, students and employers.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming enquiries, received both electronically and via the telephone, are responded to within agreed timescales and that accurate information and guidance is provided about our products, services and polices.  The role will also include the supply of accurate quotations, book order processing, administrative and reception duties

It is essential that applicants can demonstrate the following, but not limited to:

  • Experience of dealing with customers in a service related environment
  • Knowledge and experience of MS Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Experience of working effectively in a team and of working cross departmentally

Your skills will include:

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including active listening skills
  • Good communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Professional and confident telephone manner
  • Well-developed organisational, planning and prioritising skills  along with  the ability to manage conflicting priorities and work to strict deadlines
