The Company

Cambridge Medical Robotics Limited (“CMR”) was incorporated in January 2014 with a vision to make the benefits of keyhole surgery affordable and accessible. The Company is privately held, founder-managed and strongly backed by shareholders who share the founders' long term vision. CMR completed a $20m Series A financing in July 2016.

The Company has grown quickly, employs over 60 staff, and expects to double in size over the next 18 months.

The Role

CMR is now seeking a Human Resources Assistant who will report to the Business Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance to in-house CMR recruiters including establishing contact with and liaising with candidates, organising interviews and progressing candidates through CMR's recruitment pipeline process
• Organising, representing CMR at Careers Fairs and other recruitment events
• Working with the creative marketing assistant to optimise CMR's on-line profile for potential candidates
• Ensuring employment and training records are kept up to date
• Administering pension, life assurance and other benefit programmes
• Varied tasks to ensure that CMR remains a supportive and caring employer, and ensure staff retention levels continue at a very high level

We're looking for an individual with the following attributes:

The successful candidate will be seeking to start or continue a career in or move across to human resources in an entry level role. CMR will provide on the job training and will support the candidate through relevant examinations.

The candidate will be well-organised, engaging, enthusiastic, diligent and reliable. Above all the person will be an excellent team-player, comfortable working in a non-hierarchical environment and prepared to do whatever is required to get the job done.

This role is full-time.
